MZP FOUNDATION creates accessible learning and performance opportunities through music, comedy, theater, and other performing arts by creating practical learning and performance opportunities kids of all ages.

Our vision is that every community deserves opportunities through affordable and accessible music, theater, related educational programs, and live community performances which create lasting cultural traditions in Mansfield and surrounding communities.

Current initiatives include the revival of the Mansfield Live Opry previously known by some as the Main Street Opry, and hosted at the historic Farr Best Theater in downtown Mansfield, 109 N Main Street.  The Foundation has reserved 13 monthly weekend nights from December ‘26 through December ’27 but needs financial and community support to:

  • Produce affordable, family-friendly music and theatrical events
  • Provide performance and learning opportunities for young and emerging artists
  • Recognize and involve veterans through music, comedy and community programs
  • Support musicians, comedians, performers, instructors, and technical - production personnel
  • Provide sound, lighting, staging, costumes, publicity, and other essential production resources
  • Keep ticket prices affordable and make selected programs available without charge
  • Build the Mansfield Live Opry into a sustainable community tradition

The MZP FOUNDATION is the public-facing name of Muzical Productions LLC, a Texas nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity.  Contributions are tax-deuctible as permitted by law.
